There are so many big and important decisions to make when it comes to planning your wedding. Where to go on the honeymoon, what to have for meals, where to have the wedding, and most importantly who is going to be your DJ that is going to entertain all of your family and friends and get your last name right when you get introduced :). of all of those decisions I had to make, picking Kevin for my DJ was the easiest. After our first conversation where he asked if we could be Facebook friends so that he could get to know me and my fiance a little bit better ..i knew I was in good hands. He was the only part of my wedding I was never concerned about because of how important he made me feel when we spoke about my wedding reception, getting every detail correct and even going above and beyond to help with the slideshow.

Kevin was our DJ at our wedding and was such a pleasure to work with! Not only was he able to work with us and provide music both inside our venue and outside for the cocktail hour, but he was also able to work with my specific music tastes. I've been to several weddings, functions, and special occasions where the DJ shows up with an attitude, doesn't want to be bothered, plays some music, and then hits the road. DJ Kevin Hamblett is not like this at all! When Jennifer and I were planning our wedding this past summer, Kevin went out of his way to make the entertainment piece happen! From coming to our home to help coordinate the timing of events to choosing specific songs, he did it all! He even worked with our children who were secretly planning a surprise for us during the wedding! Without a doubt, we will be booking Kevin again.

Kevin DJ'd my wedding and I have also been a guest at weddings he DJ'd (because I recommended him to a friend). My wife and I had rule of thumb that if you remember the DJ by name at a wedding, it's probably because he/she did something terrible. Never a problem with Kevin. As a guest he doesn't try to be an act he just tries to make sure that everyone dances and has a great time for as long as possible. As someone planning a wedding he is super easy to work with and wants to do anything he can to make you happy. One pre-wedding phone call and we worked out all of the specifics and he had no problem downloading songs on the fly if the wedding party or a guest had a request. No hassle, he was there when he was supposed to be and rocked the house.
